FOOD PANTRY YOUTH. With the Food Pantry, we aim to protect the privacy of all clients who come to us for help.  In order to maintain this, our policy is that all children under the age of 18 need to remain in the back areas from 4-7 pm (pantry, re-stock, prep, or freezer and fridge room). Adults must attend under 18 children at all times also. We are truly grateful for and encourage youth participation, but client privacy is something we value. Please contact Cathy Williams at phone 752-2339 or Erika Smith at phone 916-0167 before pantry night if you intend to bring an under 18 child with you to volunteer.
Neighbors receiving food at Open Pantry must bring with them as proof of residency an active driver’s license AND present a current bill (electric, phone, Hanover, or utility no older than 60 days) received at their home address as proof of residency. Please be prepared with a complete list of Full Names (First, Last) and Birthdates (MM/DD/YYYY) of all individuals residing in the household.

WHEAT has been averaging 50-60 families each time the pantry is open. These 50-60 families represent approximately 150-200+ individuals including adults and children. It takes a lot of food to keep the pantry supplied and WHEAT is so blessed to have the support of the area churches/organizations. Thank you and God bless …. Cathy and the WHEAT Board.
